If your chapter is interested in learning how to begin planning, and implementing programs for women and/or diverse audiences, these 5 presentations will assist you in your journey!

The purpose of the presentations is to help chapters and/or members, discover tools, and/ or potential community partnerships that can help implement or support programs for women and other diverse audiences. The committee has a great line-up of presenters, and are looking forward to meeting those of you interested in beginning your women and diversity, community program journey.

The presentations are being provided in a “foundational format” –

First (April 13th and 20th 7p.m.-8:30p.m.) – TWO presentations presented by National Trout Unlimited.

Second (April 29th 7p.m.-8:30p.m.) – Presented by PATU Women, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee Members–

      *** PATU WDI Our efforts in PA – This presentation introduces you to PATU’s WDI efforts, along with local program implementation strategies and tips

Third (May 13th 6:30p.m.-8:00p.m.)– Presented by PA STREAM Girls team –

       ***STREAM Girls! – Introduces you to a great program your chapter can implement in your community to reach more diverse audiences

Fourth (May 20th 6:30p.m.-8p.m.) – Presented by Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) –

       ***DCNR: Connecting Women to PA’s Natural Resources – Introduces you to DCNR women’s programs, as well as, partnership opportunities in your backyard.

Our committee consists of state and local partnerships from PA Fish and Boat Commission, Trout Unlimited to local conservation organizations. These partnerships work together to build state and local networks to assist in the formation and implementation of events/programs to introduce females and diverse audiences to the world of waterway conservation, fishing and the variety of ways to enjoy PA’s waterways.
