PA Council is interested in finding a Chair for its Service Partnership Program to introduce our local first responders and military community, and their families, to the healing power of our waters, with a goal of thanking them for their service and engaging them in our chapters activities. The position is not paid and requires development of an annual Service Partnership plan with budget. The Service Partnership Chair would also need to attend quarterly meetings and provide quarterly reports to EXCOM. The Service Partnership Chair empowers volunteers to more fully support and engage the first responder and military communities, works to raise the profile of the Service Partnership to attract more participants and volunteers; and both sustains and grows program operations. The Service Partnership Chair works directly with the PATU Executive Committee. The position entails approximately 10 volunteer hours per month.
For those interested in volunteering to help coordinate a series of events and activities associated with this program, please contact PATU, PO Box 5148, Bellefonte, PA 16823, or via email to PATU’s Communications and Outreach Coordinator, Carolyn Heckman, at [email protected].
