The project constructed two log framed deflectors on Yellow Creek in Bedford County. The deflectors redirect flow and narrow the stream channel and enhance the opportunity for an already existing population of wild brown trout to be more sustainable and increase. The project partners were the Mountain Laurel Chapter of Trout unlimited, Bedford County Conservation District, Yellow Creek Coalition and the private landowner.
